Fireproof letterboxes are designed to eliminate the threat of arson by firstly containing any flammable liquid poured through the letterbox. The fire is then automatically extinguished by a heat sensitive automatic fire extinguishing system. The letterbox is made from fireproof sheet steel and has neoprene seals to make the unit airtight.

Intumescent Letter Plate - fire rated 30 min

Fire-rated letter plates are fitted with an intumescent liner and are suitable for installing into fire rated door without compromising the door's integrity.

The intumescent material swells to seal the letter opening in the event of a fire
